Making Radish Leaf Pesto

Stumbling upon a post by Amanda Soule,

then some radishes, seemingly out of season, at my market, 

I decided to whip up some fresh pesto - 

Radish Leaf Pesto in the vein of Chocolate and Zucchini.

My baby girl loved helping by picking and placing the leaves and almonds

It tastes delicious and as well as enjoying the pesto as a hot little snack on top of radish slices,

I love my pesto on my new wholemeal spelt bread.

We spent the day by Broulee Beach yesterday,

soaking in the sand and the sun,  

sights and sounds, 

the colours and textures.

There were sand pies to be mixed, 

time for solitary exploration 

sandcastles bedecked with star-shaped shells

rock pools to paddle and wade in

fish to attempt to catch in our bucket

sand angels to make

and vistas to enjoy
