Food, Family and a Masonry Oven

Snapper with dill, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic

Homemade woodfired pizza...

baked outdoors in the wood oven

Homemade Turkish Bread...

dipped in extra virgin olive oil, or tzatziki or a chilli yoghurt dip

What can be better than sharing homemade food with family, outdoors in the beautiful Autumn weather gathered around a purpose built oven by the vege patch. If only it was all ours (sigh!).

If you'd like to build your own oven, apparently this book is the one to use:

How lovely...I have seen then made of clay and they look beautiful too. I'm sure the flavours must be great.

I'm back in the land of the living, sad month!

How is our mama-to be? Hope things are going well for you and your family.

Well, my comment above didn't publish correctly.

What I had written was that it's been a long, hard, sad month!
