Preparations for a Warm Woollen Hat or two

I'm making preparations for some sewing to adorn and warm my two lassies.

Here's some completed cutting out and browsing books to plan some embroidery before too much stitching together is complete and the hat become awkward to hold and embroider.

The book lying there on the right is:

Carefree Clothes for Girls: 20 Patterns for Outdoor Frocks, Playdate Dresses, and More

The holidays we are enjoying now should afford me time to finish them...now just searching for the motivation.

How cute!! I love the fabric colours.
The book looks lovely ... and I'm tempted, except that my youngest is already wearing size 10.

Hi Cee,

I can't wait to have time to sew. Next week I start two weeks of vacation, sort of. The boys I watch will be on vacation, so I'm calling it my vacation. I plan on gettin a lot caught up around here. Maybe I'll have some time for sewing.

And the kangaroos! I imagine they are like seeing deer, here in the U.S. Fun. When I first looked at the last kangaroo pic, it looked like his tail was VERY long. I quickly realized it was a tree branch!

Wow - You are quite talented...Unlike your muffins recipe I can't try this activity - because when it comes to sewing, I can run a mile away (or may be evn more)
