Valentine Heart and Kissing Cloths

How did it happen that their lips came together? How does it happen that birds sing, that snow melts, that the rose unfolds, that the dawn whitens behind the stark shapes of trees on the quivering summit of the hill? A kiss, and all was said. ~Victor Hugo
This little Valentine Heart cloth was a quick knit I did on Valentine's Day. I found it via Ravelry but for non users the pattern is here.

Here is my kissing cloth, the Xstitch cloth I referred to at the end of my initial cloth post, complete and ready to go. I think this will be the first one my husband will use for scrubbing some of those dishes.

So here are a couple more to add to my stash - one knitted, one crocheted. I like keeping all my needles working and both balls of blue wool diminishing at once.

I've a couple more on all my needles as we speak.

Oh but how much more of a joy washing the dishes might be! :) I agree however I will have to make some more in these patterns and gift these ones I think.

it looks like an addictive thing, to knit dishcloths...I really, really, REALLY need to learn one day (the list of things I'd want to learn is getting bigger by the day, lol)

Here's an idea for you, Cee. Soap sweaters. I'll bet you could easily figure out the pattern.

Hi Shandy, it is lovely to see you again. I am not sure whether it is addictive to knit cloths..that is why I joined the cloth create-a-long - to get a few more completed with my cotton stash (hence they are all blue). Yet as I mentioned it is a great skill to have for use and for gifts and also to learn new stitches etc.

HS Mama I do like that little sweater and will have to set to work at it someday - altho I seem to be having a small creative break at the moment. Must be too busy. :)
